Benefits Overview
Full-time and part-time QT employees enjoy one of the broadest benefits packages in the industry. Offering a broad range of benefits is one of the ways we give back to our employees. The following list is not comprehensive and subject to change.
- Health: Medical coverage offered through QuikTrip’s self-administered plan.
- Dental and Vision benefits offered.
- Life: Coverage at twice the previous year's earnings. Supplemental term and whole life plans also available.
- Part-Time Employees may enroll in the QuikTrip Benefits Plan at their one year anniversary, given they’ve met the minimum number of hours worked.
- Retirement Plan: QuikTrip’s Retirement Plan consists of 401(k), Profit Sharing and ESOP.
- Plan Eligibility Requirements for Participation: Active QuikTrip employees who are at least 21 years old and who have at least one year of service in which they have worked 1,000 hours, are automatically enrolled in the Plan.
- 401(k): A participant may contribute up to the IRS limit each calendar year to his/her QuikTrip 401(k) account.
- 401(k) Employer Match: QuikTrip matches contributions at a 50% rate for the first 6% of a participant’s annual pay. *
- Employer Profit Sharing Contribution: QuikTrip may annually contribute a percentage of pretax profits to the Plan, to be allocated to participants to share in the contribution for the Plan Year. *
- Employee Stock Ownership Plan: QuikTrip may annually contribute company stock equivalent to a percentage of pretax profit to the Plan, to be allocated to participants to share in the contribution for the Plan Year. *
* To be eligible to receive employer contributions, the participant must be actively employed on the last day of the Plan Year and must have completed at least 1,000 hours of service during the Plan Year.
- 2 weeks after 1 year of full-time employment
- 3 weeks after 5 years of full-time employment
- 4 weeks after 10 years of full-time employment
- 5 weeks after 15 years of employment (store employees only)
- Part-time employees accrue vacation after 2 years of employment

- QT Cares: Disaster can strike anytime, anywhere, to any one of us. The QuikTrip Cares Employee Disaster Fund is dedicated to helping QT employees affected by an unexpected and unavoidable emergency or disaster: life-altering emergencies such as a house fire, accident, or sudden illness in the family; natural disasters such as floods, tornadoes, or hurricanes; or financial hardship caused by a death in the family or personal tragedy.
